Hi, new to the forum,
I have a 2015 Cherokee Sport with the 2.4. Started to experience an issue where the engine dies or cuts off if you start to drive before the engine is warmed up. You can make it about 1/4 - 1/2 mile and then the car just dies!? It will not restart right away!? If you start it with the factory remote start and let it warm up, there is no issue? Trying to get an idea what this issue might be caused by? Any thoughts or suggestions? It will eventually restart and run fine once it does, but it is irritating.

I have exact same issue, did you discover the problem?
No check engine light on assume no code stored.

 

we’re you able to determine the cause of this issue?

 

Check all your fluid levels, specially oil (according to the manual, not how your Dad taught you). Last time I had a jeep just die on me, it was two quarts low on oil. Something the 2.4l are know for is "consuming oil". Good luck.
