i feel like Assateague is going to be positively full to capacity that weekend with all the jeeps going to be there. So this sound like a much more enjoyable option. Don't really feel like waiting 2 hours to drive in some sand

The best time to go is early spring/ late fall if you're looking to have fun and huck some dunes. I'll be down this Saturday morning for a little surfin'. Supposed to be clean, somewhat offshore, and waist high! Gonna be fun. I'm down there as much as time will allow Justin, so if you wanna invest in a permit, do it. You'll have at least one more to go with. Additionally, your girl will love it.

i was looking into it, the beaches in DE where you can drive on dont offer a one day pass of any kind, you need to buy a surf fishing tag which is $65 for instate and $120 out of state but im pretty sure assateague(sp?) has one day passes
