Well, the kids are eating too much and it's getting difficult to fit us all in the 79 f150 for camp'n/shoot'n/hunt'n.
So my task was to get a family vehicle.
My current daily driver is a 79 f150 4x4, straight 6, np205. 33in K02s, dana44/ford 9in. Pretty much all new but paint. I won't be getting rid of her, just added to the family.
I've been studying the XJ's for a while now and will have lots of questions but am mechanically inclined. Scored last night after a month of auto-refresh and cash in hand.
98xj, 140K miles, $5.5K. hpdana30 with lunchbox/auto/dana35 lsd (ya i'm aware), 3in lift, manual windows. no rust, the usual oil filter neck leak and rear main, etc. Drives great. I'm making a 'to-do' list today.
Anyways... can I be in your secret special clubhouse?
