Default XJ in the Lowcountry

Evening,
Been driving a Cherokee since I got my license. First a 1991 4.0 that stayed when I left home for the Navy. Went carless for the first year and moved to a 1999 4.0 Sport. It's been my daily driver since 2005. It's been living a mostly maintenance free life(save oil and a few fender benders) and I have sensed its feelings of neglect over the last couple months. It was there for me to and from work and up and down the coast several times and now its time for me to return it to glory.

Among its demands are occasional underperforming cooling. High oil pressure. Stiff steering(only to the left). A pretty good shimmy between 54-59mph...well, lets just leave it there for now.

I grew up with a dad who did enough to keep the cars tuned up and basic fluids but we never did anything more than the basic keep it going work. Looking to grow into a skillset beyond this. Seems this is a good place to start.

Thank you
