Our jeep was involved in a rear end accident. I'm rebuilding but having trouble finding the frame cross member that is directly under the radiator. I would prefer a new piece if they are available versus going to a yard and cutting one out. Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Weld in some metal, the factory front membe rthat joins unibody rails is weak anyways.

 

Ok, yea other than the bumper it crumpled like aluminum foil LoL it's gona be reinforced for sure. Thanks for the help

My xj is a 1996. They don't list the part for this year, will the lower tie bar from a later model year fit? Say from a 1997? I know there was a break in production but don't know how much was updated on the chassis.
