Default What to do?!?

Hey guy's my name is Andrew, and I'm thinking about getting a cherokee but I would like some input. I have been searching around trying to settle on a offroad platform to build. I want to be able to do some serious offroading but at the same time I want to be able to take it on long road trips.

Can you guys point me in the right directions on where you would start and if the Cherokee is the right choice for me? Also info about the differences in years would be nice if their really is any.

I would recommend a 96-99. Then do a 4.5" long arm set up.

I know it can always be patched and fixed but keep an eye out for rust in the floor pans if you don't want to be dealing with it right away. I got a 95 and didn't pay much attention when I was buying mine and recently noticed rust holes in my floor. Also depends on where you live.

No problem. Those years I consider three cream of the crop. The others are great toobut I think these will give the best to start with. And Luke they said, watch out for rust. Get under the rig and look for it.

Sounds good, I'm switching over from street cars to offroad don't know why I'm just realizing that I love being offroad more then on but guess it comes with growing up. And I'm moving to Texas where I plan to find an XJ so should be a pretty rust free lot to pick from!

And thanks all for the tips really enjoy reading the posts on this forum. And can't wait to start my project!!
