I have been using this site for info for awhile now.So I thought I would register and say hello. Hello.
At this point I have 3 jeeps,not really intentional,just turned out that way.
I work as a rural carrier for the US Mail.I have gone through a bunch of vehicles over the years.Retirement is approaching,and I needed another.What I wanted,was something that I would keep and enjoy after I become a civilian again.
The Cherokee seemed to be the vehicle of choice for a lot of carriers here.So I bought a 1995 Sport.A few things need to be done to make it route ready,but it's a good driveable jeep as is.I need to get to the junk yard for some dome light covers and a rear defog switch.This morning my plans are to install a new Rancho steering damper.
I mentioned that I have 3,an 04 wrangler unlimited and an 84 dj5m.The dj is in the process of restoration.I will use it as a "around town buggy".No plans to put it on the route,it don't have a/c!!
