Hi I'm new in the forum, I just bought a Cherokee 1986 Pioneer with the 2.5Lt and I would like to have some feedback about this engine, I had other Jeep with the 4lt and was great but I'm curious about this one, I bought it for cheap that is why I'm making the question now.

I have not seen to many with the 4 banger in them, all I remember was that it was a GM power plant and some had head gasket issues.

 

Yes actually this one is like sweating a bit of oil, is not leaving oil in the floor, just going to wash the engine see where is that coming from, but seems to be easy to replace the gasket.
