Power steering issue
Hello everyone I am new to this site and have a question about my power steering. I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee 2 door that I broke the reservoir return line. I replaced the reservoir and can’t seem to bleed the air from the system. The power steering works but is noisy. It looked to be sucking air so I replaced the pump but still unable to bleed the system. The hoses are new and the only thing not changed is the gear. It is a 4cylinder 5speed 4x2. My son passed away 2 years ago and it sits in the driveway most of the time with me doing little things to fix it up. Am I missing something funny in the power steering? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The way to bleed it is to jack up the front end and with the engine off turn the steering wheel back and forth lock to lock a couple of times. However if that does not do the trick the noise is likely from pump damage while running dry and will need to be replaced
