Hello guys, the names Kyle. I currently have a 2002 Jeep TJ, yes I know I'm not welcome here . I'm trying to sell it as fast as possible. I'm looking for 6,400, this way I can get the lifted cherokee a guys holding for me. My question I guess is, "Is it worth it to trade straight up?" It's lifted 4.5'' with 35" mud terrains and bushwacker fenders with a Light rack on top. He's asking 4 grand!

Anyways I realize I got off topic and turned it into a "What should I do" type of intro!

I've owned a jeep for two years, and don't think I can go back to a different make. I love my jeep and have poured hours of blood sweat and tears into it.

Hopefully I can join you guys within the month bragging about my sweet new ride!

 

Welcome from Wisconsin. I myself would sell the TJ outright. And buy a bone stock (less likely to have been beat on) XJ. And lift that. So I would know what I had, and how it was done. And not deal with the other person's possible problems. (unless I knew that person and the vehicle) Adding a lift doesn't add resell value to the XJ. A few more details about the XJ, (mileage, year, model, etc. with pics.) would also help people determine their answer. Unless you already have your mind made up on it. JMO!

 

I agree with the bone stock. So now I just have to wait for the TJ to sell! Haha where from in WI I was born in racine!

Oshkosh, Racine is about 80 miles south of me. Ever hear of EAA Air adventure (the Airshow) or Country USA Concert series. That is here. I would look for the lowest miles and in the best shape as possible. Do your research, and find out what years you prefer. With what options you prefer. If it is going to be a Daily Driver also, the creature comforts are nice to have. Here is my '91 limited, with every option available except sunroof. And right now it is just over 70,000 miles.
