Oppps I Never Introduced Myself...
Well hey yall! Ive been on this site for a while, poseted a few threads and tried to put my two cents in where I could...
Well a little about me and my Jeep. I am from Cen Cal, born and raised. I bought myself a Jeep about a year ago for $200 cash and $400 in back taxes... I thought it was a pretty good deal. At least the best one when I actually had some money to spend. It had somewhat low miles on it (116,000), and ran really strong, but had a little tick to the engine, we were just hoping it was bearings in the bottom end. But it turned out the bearings were bad and cylinder walls needed to be bored out .20. So about $900 later after a rebuild kit and the machine work done and all the hours spent on her. I have a strong running engine that I helped my husband build! =D I even got to paint the engine purple! (Ill have to post some photos when I get a chance!)
Well after the slow build of my Jeep's engine. We bought her a 3" Suspension Lift II from Rough Country. Ended up having a terrible death wabble that took forever to fix! I think for now shes good. She has a little shimmy/shake but I havent put my new rims and tires on her yet (that will be this weekend! Yipee! the rims came in the mail today, and my tires will get picked up after work!) So she may just need some balanced Wheels.
Other then that she has gotten a lot of interior parts from the wrecking yard and a new Cd Player and speakers.
She has came a long way from when I first bought her! The engine hasnt even been fully broke in (shes not a DD yet), shes still under 500 miles.
Like I said above, I really need to post some photos of her!
Well, theres my introduction... any other questions you may have, just ask!

Crazy4x4Chick, Good looking XJ. If you haven't taken it up to Shaver Lake yet, I strongly recommend you do. There is lot's of slick rock and very cool trails. Bald Mountain Trail was my favorite.

No I havent taken her anywhere yet! Im being picky and wanting everything done first before I take her out... I wont even drive her to work yet! haha But after this weekend, she will be done for now.. at least until i break something and have to upgrade.
We took my husbands Samurai to Shaver, but it was snowy so we werent able to wheel around... just slide!
I want to go up there. There is a trail called 'Dinky Creek Trail' that we want to go on. Im sure this summer, she will do alot of wheeling...
We like to go to Buck Rock and Pierce Pond alot... Not sure if you are familure with the area?
Thanks!

I know it's too late now, but when I painted the blocks in my two GLH's they offered high-temp engine paint in a wide variety of colors, including Pink!
There's a lady that races Mopars and paints her engines Hot-Pink!
