Old-New XJ Owner: Back in the saddle
I've been lurking over the last few weeks - thanks to everyone for your contributions. Much to learn and mostly enjoy reading here...
I used to have a '98 Cherokee 4.0L Sport; Drove it 90k+ and sold to my buddy. He's still driving the beast and likely near the 200K mark or past by now.
The most recent project is a 95 Jeep Country with classic Forest Green/ Champagne trim.. mostly 100% condition with 154K on a 4.0L engine.
I'll post the actual jeep & update my avatar sometime today!
Not much to add here - I am an amateur radio operator, love to camp/hunt/fish and use my 4x4 as an enabler to get me to where I can do the above hobbies. I believe no expensive piece of ham radio equipment should be denied the experience of dust, moisture and low-voltage in the field; I believe no 4x4 should be denied the right of travel over snow, mud, dust and water.
Thanks for building this community of knowledge. I'm looking forward to learning and contributing as part of the collective.
Thanks,
- Brent
