Hi, folks. New to the forum, not so new to Cherokees. I had a job where a Cherokee was my company car for about 6 years. Mostly highway and city use, with an occasional run off road. That was about 11 years ago. I fell in love with them!

Last August I bought a '94 for $1000, with 204k miles on it. It's not pretty - sheet metal is good but the bumpers are a bit banged up, and the paint is fading.

I'm at 226k now. It's my daily driver, commuting through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley into my city job in northern Virginia (the D.C. suburbs, in reality). I"m not into doing off-road. Looks like great fun, but I just don't have time!

I'm the third owner. The first owner took good care of it, judging by the extensive maintenance records in the user's manual. The second owner, uh, didn't. I've got some cracked door hinges to take care of!

I've been posting on another forum (under the same username), but decided to give this one a try. Looks like a very well-run forum, and I'm hoping for some good conversations.
