My name is Dan and this is my first 4x4 I have owned along with first American vehicle (I'm sure that sounds strange). I just purchased this 1999 Cherokee in Chili Pepper Red Pearl with a mild lift and decent wheels and tires. Not a bad way to start I suppose lol.
I have been around 4 wheeling since high school with friends, but never had one of my own. I have been a Japanese and German car owner this whole time, and had my fair share of Nissans and BMWs. But with a small child, it was time to get a more capable and fun vehicle, especially for camping/lake trips.
I purchased this XJ from a friend who was looking for something newer. So far, I do not regret the purchase!

Thanks for the welcome! I will stand corrected on the color if it isn't. It just looks identical in person to all of the Google image results for chili pepper Red Pearl. The pictures make it look a lot darker and more red than it actually is. and it definitely has a lot of pearl in it, in the sunlight.
