I'm looking for a XJ for my next step. I'm currently rocking a 08' Ford Escape 2.3 4spd 4x4 with a 2 inch lift and Grabber AT2 tires. You might be laughing, as everyone else who sees it does also until they hop in. It trudges right through anything until it bottoms out. I love the little bugger as I still get 28 or so MPG. But, it's time for an upgrade from that. I would like to purchase one that has already been built some what. I'm not sure how big of one I should get. The boy in me is saying one with 7 inches of lift on 35s, but I most likely won't use it's full potential, so I am looking for the best match of street-ablitly and off roading. I'm from northern Vermont, right under the Canadian border and would spend a few afternoons a month wheeling.
