Title says it all... i've been in and around Jeeps all my life, love them but have not ever owned one until now. I am not a conessuier by any stretch - just know that I like'em... want'em... got me one! Bought my first Cherokee Laredo this last week. It's a 1990 model, inline 6, 4wd with over 300k miles. Original motor, runs like a gem. It's a two owner vehicle - pretty clean on the inside, outside is oxidized but it's gonna get a flat paint job of some sort. Actually still have the original manuals and paperwork that shows oil changes, services etc. It's got a 2" lift on it and thats about it. It's a cherry... but it's not all that for sure. Let's just say she's more of a "built for work" big boned country girl versus Miss Texas!
So here is my "newbert" question of the day... I've seen lots of mention here about XJ models etc. How do I know what I have other than a "Cherokee Laredo"...

Welcome from NOR CAL and Loredo is basically all you need to know the Loredo model in that yar was just a step down from the limited and is a real nice starter rig. Don't trip on the mileage I'm close to that and still wheel it like it was new, then drive her to work on monday. Have a good time with it !!!!
