It's during the day when everyone is home, nights aren't a problem. That lazy pup sleeps through the night. Sometimes she goes outside then pees or poops in the house 5 minutes after she comes back in....

don't expect a puppy to be fully house trained until at least 6 mos +.. they are still babies at that point.
if your dog is having accidents in the house when people are home it's because you guys arent keeping an eye on her. put her in the crate when people are home.. leave her there for an hour or so, as soon as she's out, take her straight outside. she doesnt get to come in, until she pees/poops. then, let her back in and she's good for another hour or so.. if you see her start sniffing the ground, pick her up and take her outside. the more you allow her to have an accident in the house, the more you set her back from understanding she's going in the wrong place.
also as far as feeding, feed her on a schedule. when people just leave their food bowl out all day, it's hard to know when your dog ate and when it will go. some people may disagree w/me, but this has always worked great for all my dogs.

I usually keep a good eye on her when shes in the house. Every time she leaves my eyesight I follow her. Looks like the other people in the house need to be trained as well lol. I threw away the bag of dog food and forgot to read the feeding recommendations. I do leave food out for her when I leave because shes home alone for about 8 hours. I'm currently feeding the pup Eukanuba large breed puppy food.

lol.... yes, the rest of the house needs to be trained.
best way to choose food is to go off ingredients. avoid anything w/corn as that causes food allergies.
eukanuba is not very good food, but finish the bag, and then switch. if you have a costco nearby, their kirkland super premium is the best food for the price. if you don't have one, nutro sells decent food for the price.
i can understand your worries about being gone 8 hours. after your dog is about 6 mos you can feed twice a day, so feed before you leave and when you get home. i feed my dog at 830 am and 8 pm.. +/-
