Newby here.
New to the Forum. Just bought a 99' Cherokee classic that is pretty much completely stock. Using for a daily work driver and possibly a hunting buggy. Down the road I plan on putting a small lift on it once it turns into a toy. Looking for good info on the handful of maintenance and repairs that need done on it right away.

I would do the general oil change, coolant flush, check tranny and transfercase fluid, and probably put new differential fluid in front and rear. After that you should be good to go!

Yeah, I plan on doing all that. I also need to replace the front axle u joints, rear brakes,
Drivers side front axle seal, pinion seal on front differential and possibly a rear main seal and head gasket. Rear main and head gasket don't leak bad so far but something I'd like to look at in the near future. Any recommendations on fluids to run in this thing? I've used royal purple diff fluid in my old truck and liked it but I'm always up for suggestions on something that's new to me.
