Newby from the great northwest

Im new to all this, got my sisters 89 xj. Has issues, but I love the jeep product. Im car friendly, but not familiar with jeeps & 4x4 stuff. Jeep needs work& some tlc. Wanna do this right. I live in centralia, wa. Anyone near that I can ask advise, learn from, etc. thanx & have a great week & upcoming holidays.

welcome to the site mike... you have a 1989 jeep which has a Renix 4.0 here are some tips to getting your Renix 4.0 in good shape most of the time it just takes some time...

No pics yet. Soon tho, just gotta figure how to do it. I'll check out the link u sent, thanx. My 89 xj is light blue & my sis didnt take very good care of it. I think it needs a head gasket, it has a lift kit, but dont know what kind. And between her & her ex they chopped up the wiring harness & who knows what else. But I wamt to get it going & make a decent rig out of it.
