hi all.

I'm really wanting a 4litre LPG'd Cherokee and set my sights on a 2001+ one. As a complete freshman to all things Jeep, can somebody either please tell me what to lookout for and ask or provide links to places that will.

personally id look for a 97-99 2000-2001 heads are prone to cracking

 

half the 99 heads are prone too. that was the cross-over year.
i have a 2000 with over 200,000 miles and havnt had a problem with my head. id just look for one thats stock and under $2,500 and has about maybe 100,000-150,000 miles. try to find a 5spd with the ax15 with 4wd. and no major mechanical issues.

Hey Steven, is that a Grand Cherokee, or a regular Cherokee? Because I believe what you call an '04 Cherokee over there is called a Liberty over here.
Does it look like this? It's a Liberty.

Or like this? It's a Grand Cherokee.
