Default Newbie...(sort of) from Oklahoma.

Hello. New guy, sorta of. I joined in 2013 but this is my first post. I lived in SC when I joined and now live in Southwest OK. I have a 98 XJ Classic. Stock. 240,000 miles. Bought it from a guy off Craigslist 2 years ago for $1800. I've put 22,000 miles on it as a daily driver. Have big plans for it but currently no (upgrades/mods) budget. Just trying to keep it on the road right now.

Anyone ever seen a sunroof on a Jeep Cherokee XJ? Mine has one. Not sure if it's a factory option or after market but the data sheet from Chrysler/Jeep said nothing about it.

I did replace the front end bushings to red polyurethane ones. That "death shake/wobble" is scary at 75 mph!!

Thanks for the welcomes.

Here's pics of the sunroof. I've never been able to open it as you can see below.

Does it leak? Looks like a good install.

Sometimes...depends on how hard the rain is and the direction of the wind. It has some leak drain tubes (in pics), so it has never dripped on me, just see some water in the floor board once in a while.

Be sure you dont let those floor boards that out... Giant pita. Ide rip up the carpet and take a peak... maybe throw a one way drain in the bottom there.

looks sweet though!
