Newbie with a problem :-/
Hello all.
I'm brand new to this forum and can use all the help I can get.
I'm 68 and pretty good with pre-computerized cars, but my 2004 Grand Cherokee has got me bamboozled.
The battery drains every 4 or 5 days if I don't drive it.
The battery checks good, and i've pulled each fuse and checked them with a multi meter. With the fuse pulled for the O2 sensor, it's still reading about 1.6 volts going through the connection.
Is this normal? If so, what do you folks suggest checking.
Oh yeah, the rear power outlet also reads about .3 volts with the fuse pulled.

How old is the battery? Over 4 years? Toss it for a new one.
The battery checks good, and i've pulled each fuse and checked them with a multi meter.
Charge the battery overnight with a good charger. It should show 13+ volts when fully charged. Leave it disconnected for 5 days and see if it holds its' charge. If it does, check for current draw with everything off. There should be very little draw (i don't know the numbers)
