Hello everyone. I just purchased my red XJ classic 4x4 this morning. It's a 99 with 230k on it. It's a little rough, but I like that. It gives me something to do. Right now my only plans are to restore it. I have some back problems, so a lift is most likely not in my future, but maybe some bigger tires.
A little about myself... I'm new to 4x4 vehicles. I've done rice rockets (mazdaspeed protege), american muscle (procharged 04 mustang gt), and eurotrash (08 vw rabbit) and it was time for a little change, plus my back cant handle the little cars anymore. I was a VW tech for a few years and before that did body work for a collision center. Now though, I'm selling VW parts at Gunther VW in Fort Lauderdale.
Well thats about as much history on me as anyone would want to know.
I'm looking forward to getting to know people around here and learning a whole lot about my XJ and maybe even being able to help out a little.
I'll post some pics when i get off work.
