Hey guys and maybe gals?

I bought a used 1999 cherokee sport 4x4 5 speed. Its stock to the core and Im thinking a 2" or so lift would make it look better and be able to accept a lil bigger tire..
My coils and leafs are kinda tired, I dont want to make it ride harsh though..
Whats the best riding lift kit that meets that criteria?

Thanks everyone and I look forward to having a great time with my jeep.

Chris

Instead of the AAL's I got rear shackles. My springs weren't sagging so it lifted it properly. I have 31's with my 2", also with fender trimming.

Old Man Emu, has a 2.5" kit. Comes with new leafs, coils, shocks, 1" tc drop. I can't see using AAL's on already worn leafs. (check out their web site.)

My leafs sag and with 31's and they rub when i hit speed bumps, you can get "newer" leaf packs from the wrecking yard that arent so abused for pretty cheap, Trust me don't let em rub and what you spend on leafs will be saved in tire tread...

What up dude!... hey, we just raided the junkyards up here (THANK YOU cash for clunkers!) and put the front springs from a late 80s/early 90s f-150, and the leaf shackles from and early 80s ranger.. cheeeeeaaapp lift. rides great though.. the only drawback was the shock travel.. he put the stock shocks he had leftover from lifting his Nissan Titan on, up front, but the back still "thuds" occasionally on harder offroading. Now,with some fender trimming, front wheel spacers, coil spacers, and blocks on the leafs, hes running 33s, no rubbing. Gotta find a junkyard solution to the rear shocks now...

But for like $25 at the junkyard, and some aftermarket parts to fit the 33s, it came out sweeeet... The junkyard is your new weekend hangout spot... so many cherry cherokees (Cherry-kees? ) there... we got a swing away spare tire carrier for $20..

That's if you wanna do it on the cheap.. Whereabouts in so cal are you?..
