New to XJs,
Alright, I've been lurking here for a little bit, so I decided it was time to finally introduce myself. I'm Derick from Palatka, FL. I bought a $600 '89 XJ for $600 that needs a new rear freeze plug. Transmission is nearly out, but it's a casual project, not a daily driver. The previous owners were less than mechanics, so there's a LOT of issues that are hidden. Found a shoe sole holding up the exhaust on the transmission crossmember, disconnected vacuum hoses, rigged sensors, and a LOT of rattles. It'll be nice when I'm done with it, so whatever.
