Talking New XJ owner from San Diego

Hey everyone. I'm the proud new owner of a 99 Cherokee Classic 4x4. She's all stock except for a 2" lift. I love off-roading and work for a company in the industry. However, I am by no means an expert when it comes to cars. I am trying to learn though. With that said, I joined here with the hopes of learning more about my whip and all the things I can do to it.

For now, I plan on getting it up in the air more, getting 33's under it, bumpers/armor, lots of lights, winch, strengthening the drivetrain, and adding a bunch if really handy mods/accessories.

But, first things first. What are some cheap, easy mods I can do?

(I will post some pics tomorrow after I give her a bath)

One thing I would definitely like some input on is what mufflers to look at. Any recommendations? I might get a full exhaust made after I do dome engine work, but for now I just want a better sound.

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/all-muffler-exhaust-questions-go-here-103854

or try searching around on here just depends on personal preference and cost

I got the APN manifold awhile ago from
iNeedParts.com

Then the weekend before last I got my 2.5" Catalytic Converter from Performance Curve
Here's a couple more useful links of theirs
http://performance-curve.com/jeep.aspx
http://performance-curve.com/cherokee-2.aspx

And picked up my muffler and o2 sensor from Advance
2.5" Thrush Welded Muffler
NTK Oxygen Sensor

Now to just get the wife's car back on the road yet again then I can get it all installed.

Hope this helps
