Default New XJ Owner - noob of noobs.

Hello all! I recently bought a 1996 XJ 4x4 4.0L - bone stock. I live in the San Marcos area, would like to connect with some cherokee owners around here. I'm extremely new to Cherokees, working on them, and everything in between. Would like to learn as much as I can, glad to join the forum!

Nice year XJ to start with. If you can, post some pictures. They are probably one of the easiest vehicles to learn how to fix especially with the help of guys on this forum.

Having trouble inserting pics from my iPhone? Says they're uploading from my "device", but they're not showing up. Odd...

Here's how she sits. My dog loves her just as much as I do.

Welcome to the forum, Ol' Red96! Like you, I was a total noob (not SO total now) but thanks to these very knowledgeable members you'll be up to speed. I'm still learning and this is always my first go-to place for advice. You have a lot of potential in sprucing your baby up! Be ready to Just Empty Every Pocket doing so!

Thank you nando67 and Xjwonders, Before I joined the forum I literally read and searched around for 2 weeks on CF. After searching so many pages about different lifts and reviews (and I know some are 'what they have heard') I knew that everyone was knowledgeable around here and that this was the place I needed to look first. To hell with google

With that being said ^.. I'd like to go with a 3" full leaf pack Rusty's lift...I know this isn't the place to ask, but $400-$500 isn't exactly in my budget. I know most of you XJ owners love going bigger, and if you have a used lift kit that is sitting around, I'd like to make an offer. PM me.
