New XJ owner from Brighton

Hey there just picked up a 98 XJ and am in the process of making her road worthy. Could use some help w parts near me if anyone is reading this and is near Brighton co. Upper and lower control arms to be specific. Anyway glad to be back in a jeep.

Hey welcome to the forum, That XJ looks very clean. What is wrong with the control arm? Bushings shot?

Last owner bent the lowers and where the drivers lower connects to the axle. The tabs on axle are being fabd at local shop and welded.

Replacing the front end. Have done sway bar end links, sway bar bushings, tie rod end and steering stabilizer. Need control arms up front and rear lowers. Fixing her up and loving it.

Rear lower what? I have a set of stock lowers you can have if you wanna pay shipping from 48045.

Leaf spring in the rear, no trailing arms. Just upper and lower control arms in the front amigo.

That's what I thought but a guy at les Schwab mentioned it. I guess I learned something new.

We were talking Tj and XJ differences tho. But I should have known better. Right now just wanting to get my girl on the road then the trail. Tired of waiting to get stuff done.
