What's going on everybody!
I had been lurking around the forum for the past few months while I was Cherokee hunting and finally picked up my first XJ a couple of weeks ago. Overall it's in pretty good shape, just a couple of small rust spots, the interior looks really good. The stats:
1998, 4.0, Automatic, Chrysler 8.25 rear, currently on a BB 3" lift but just purchased the Rough Country 6.5" lift that will be going on in a couple of weeks. Running on some 30" Falkens at the moment, but will be going 32 or 33 after the lift. The end goal is a solid expedition rig.
I live down in the nations oldest city, St. Augustine, FL, and am a member of the Matanzas Jeep Club.
I look forward to learning a lot more and hopefully seeing some of you guys on the trails and at events. My first big event will be Jeep Beach in Daytona this April.
Figured I'd throw a pic of the ride getting its exhaust system fixed up. Just cut out the rusted and hole filled muffler with a Thrush Glasspack.
