Hello all, as the title says I am new to the XJ world. I recently acquired a 2001 Cherokee sport with 137k on the clock. The gentleman was asking $2750 which I paid as fast as possible after the test drive. The test drive was interrupted on multiple occasions with inquiries about the vehicle.
The body is in good shape, interior is mint, and the powertrain runs strong. However it does have a host of XJ issues:
aux output
cigar lighter
headlamp dimmer
back hatch
power window lockout
passenger side lock

Many of these issues I have already remedied due in large part to this forum, truly an incredible tool. So I say thanks for the help to this point and the continued help I am sure I will acquire.

 

read up on the cylinder head that you probably have just so you know what to keep an eye on
