New XJ In NW PA
Hi guys, picked up a 98 XJ recently. Not new to the Jeep family, my wife's DD is a lifted/modded 09JK that's seen its share of trails here in Northwest PA. Neither of us likes to share the driver seat when we're wheeling, so we picked up an XJ. Here she is, just before we picked her up:
We've spent a few days cleaning off the hippie stickers and cleaning the interior (PO hauled her dog around in it).
211k miles (rebuilt engine ~90k ago), spent most of its life in the south, so there's almost no rust on it (none in the common problem areas that I've found). 5 spd, 4ish inch skyjacker lift, mediocre AT tires.
I got a bunch of noobish questions, what's the best subforum to post them on? New to CF, not 100% sure of the etiquette.
Looking forward to digging into this Jeep and CF!
Edit: Think the general chat is probably where I should start

Welcome to the forum.
Whatever u do, if u are actually making something, u can post in fabrication section, but if u just have a question or something, DON'T post it in fabrication section, it get on the nerves of a lot of moderators here because they have to work harder to filter and clean up that section.
If u have any questions regarding modifications or have something to say about it, u can post them in modified Cherokee tech, or Cherokee chat.
Anything completely random and pointless, u can post it in off topic
