So, I'm new to the forum but I've been using info from here for a while during the progress of my build. My name's John and I'm out of Carmel, NY. I'm 28 years old, and I like chicken, waffles, old cars and beer.

I currently have two XJ's (A stock, red 1994 Jeep Cherokee Country with 259K that's been through trails, mud, rocks, ponds, etc) and my new baby, a silver 2001 Jeep Cherokee 60th Anniversary edition, which I just transplanted a fresh motor into from a '98 ZJ with 40K miles. This one now has the 0630 head it inherited from the ZJ, an aFE header and is getting a fresh cat-back and a 3" lift in the near future. I bought her with 200k on the body, very little rust and piston #6 completely AWOL, probably somehow or another due to a warped and cracked 0331 head. No biggie


Anyway, I'm definitely going to have a couple of questions, and when I get time I'd like to post some sort of a build thread to summarize the adventure of my engine swap and the restoral of my '01 XJ. Just wanted to post an introduction first !
