New from Western Pa
I am looking to buy a xj... I am looking at a 2000 on saturday with 166,000 miles,
What should i look for while checking it out?
Is there major issues that I can spot before I get screwed?

*Floor boards.* They are notorious for rust. If you plan to build it, then no biggy, but just a daily driver, especially here in PA, that is a big issue. ALSO, As the previous owenever whent he last time the crank sensor was replaced.... That is also common on these. Make sure the heater fan works, meaning when you point it to the floor, it blows to the floor, that is also common, and not at all worth the financial headache to replace it.
When you test drive, put it in 4wd, anxd 4WD Lo... make sure they work...
Other then that, its a basic vehicle, and mechanically, and properly maintained, will run forever....
