im a newby here and just bought my first xj its a 1990 cherokee with 7 " total lift 5 susp. 2 body has the 4.0 engine with 33/12.50.15's on it just wanted to introduce myself im from gloucester va. and im loving the forum thus far

yep 2" blocks that is the only pic i have at the moment will be taking some more when the new tires get here


i have edited the info on the jeep as far as the lift specs

I'm also just bought a lifted XJ.

pktzygt nice jeep i might be moving to great bridge this summer my inlaws live there and me and the fam go out there all the time

 

Is a body lift the same thing as a Spacer lift or what? cause XJs dont have frames so I am just wondering how it has a body lift..

 

90 wasthe last yr with full frame 91 went to a unibody atleast thats what i have found in the last three days of research on the cherokee but it would be the same thing as a spacer lift from what i have found

all this info i found was wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!

my disc. is the one the previous owner gave me i haven't gotten the jeep home yet but after some more extensive searching i have found that they are a unibody veh. so what he is calling a body lift must be spacers in front and a longer shackle for the rear i will know better in a few more days when i get it home and can look closer at everything
