Well i did it, I bought a jeep. something I never thought I would do being a diehard ford owner.
My uncle and cousin have been wheeling an xj for a few years and they finally convinced me to get something to go along. I didn't want to trash my fullsize bronco so I ponied up and grabbed a 95 zj. Lift is going on in the next week or so. I pulled all the plastics off and the carpet out. Next is the headliner and all un needed interior parts. Cut off a bunch of excess metal from the front and rear so I can build bumpers.
Plans are to take it to the cliffs in Illinois and just wheel the heck out of it. I'll post pics of the build later on as I make progress.

Welcome, I'm a fan of the Grand cheorkees. post pics, what size tires/lift etc you plannin on puttin her on?

 

for now just a 4" lift with 31's. As with alot of people, I'm on a tight budget with it.
