Hey Everyone, Travis here from Mid/Nor Cal.

Currently I'm on my second 92xj. I've been wheelin for about 3 years now and finally decided I should join since I'm always on here anyway when I need advice. I had another 92 limited for quite a few years and loved it for the most part. Unfortunately last Febuary some black ice decided to help me flip it on the highway coming home from a snowboarding trip. It sat in the garage for about five months while I looked for a sweet new/old one. Not having any luck and right when I was about to give up on jeeps all together I found an xj that had an ax15 in it (my dream). Bought it for 1500 bucks and did a full swap plus some steering and track bar upgrades.
Damage was much worse than it looks and with the multitude of electrical problems selling it to pick and pull wasn't a hard choice.


so I picked up this puppy



Currently I'm runnin my 92XJ sport AX15, with a mix matched 6" Rusty's LA in the front and a 4.5 RE in the rear. 33x12.5x15 pro comp mud terrains. JCR bumpers front and rear a bunch of other smaller mods ( more than I feel like listing).

I'm in the works to put in some sliders, gears and lockers. I also want to fabricate some fenders (maybe I'll do a build thread if they turn out ok).
I'm always looking for new places to wheel and new people to wheel with.

Hey Travis. Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad you're okay.
Sounds like you got a great deal on your "new" 92, it looks pretty good.

 

Thanks! I came out ok on the jeep but the clutch was shot so I spent a lot right out of the bat on that. Oh and yeah no injuries just a couple of bruises to the ego. Lol
