Hey Yall, just checking in from down here in SETX. After shopping around for awhile, I finally found the jeep that I have been looking for last weekend. I ended up driving about 400 miles round trip to get it (Texas is a big state). I bought a 2003 Grand Cherokee Laredo. It is equipped with the 4.0, 42 RE, NV 242, D30/D35 with 3.55 gears. I bought it already lifted with a Skyjacker 2.5 BB and wearing 245 75 16 BGF KM2 on 16X8 Soft 8s. Love the combo. The engine was previously fitted with a K&N CAI and Airraid TB Spacer. I also have a Rage roof rack that I took off for now. This is great jeep and I am glad to finally own a 4x4 that doesn't require you to sign a waiver and get a Tetnaus Booster to ride in. Future mods include 3.73 gears and an E locker for the D35 along with some armor. I have been lurking on the forum awhile now and love this place. The folks here seem very friendly and helpful, not like some other sites where I have been a member of in the past. I dont have any offroad pics yet, but I did include one flexing in my driveway, lol. Anyway-Thanks for looking.

Nice looking WJ. Try looking for a set of axles from a WJ Overland 4X4 edition in a JY. D30 front, & D44a rear, they already have the 3.73 gears plus vari-lok, a version of locker which replaced the Trac-Lok in '02. >->http://www.wjjeeps.com/tcases.htm
