Default New in San Diego

So earlier this year I bought my 89 Cherokee. It runs good and I have lots of plans for it. I have a 4 1/2 inch rough country short arm lift kit to install. I've added led lights to the bumper and roof. I sprayed it Koi Orange with Plasti Dip and I'm currently working on removable half doors. My next project is to add electric fans.

Hopefully when the weather cools down I'll make it out locally to pancake rock or corral canyon and next year to Superstition and TDS.

It took about 4 days total to dip my Jeep. I did it in black first then orange so that it will have a thick coat. I used about 12 cans of black and 15 cans of orange. I didn't want to have it painted since I intend on getting some body damage out on the trails. I'd say so far it cost about $200 for how I dipped it.

I did the top outside in black but the slight breeze made it have more texture than I wanted so I did the rest in my garage. I bought a dozen black at Home Depot at about $5.35 per can. The Koi Orange I bought on eBay out of Florida for about $8.00 per can. Unfortunately they couldn't ship gallon sizes or larger to California so I had to use spray cans. The only positive was I didn't have to buy a spray gun.
