Hey all! Seemed like the best place to start. Have had several toys in the past including some mustangs and a wrangler.

Picked up a 2000 XJ a few weeks ago. The good, 111k miles, mechanically sound, only $2k!

The bad, was a salvage title due to body damage. It came with both driver side doors, front fender, and a full front clip. All color matching. So a little elbow grease and lots of beer later it was put back together. The guy I bought it from owns a car lot so he is able to take care of the rebuilt title and all that stuff.

Next step was the fun stuff! Rough Country 4.5 lift kit with AAL. 31" mud tires and cragar soft 8 rims. Not my daily driver. Still looking for a color matched passenger front fender but still hits the mud LOL!

A couple of pics of how it sits now. Have a before pic but not uploaded to PB. Hit a muddy farm with some trails and hills the other day. Performed like a champ! Love it!







The other truck is my buddy's Ram. Its a monster. Has a built stroker motor in it.

 

Welcome to the forum. My xj too have a salvage title. I found it in a junkyard all smashed up from a front end collision, took me a while to rebuild it and pass the inspection.

Glad that someone else did the same thing.

Thanks! Got it pretty muddy this weekend. Broke the sway bar extension bracket in half LOL!
