Default New From NEPA

Hello everyone,

I guess i'll introduce myself instead of just jumpin into posting. A little background is that ive been building/working on cars and trucks almost my whole life. My brother is NJ-XJ-4Play. He lives in Jersey (where im originally from) but i moved to Duryea, PA for work. Went to college at the university of northwestern ohio for their high performance automotive program. I do all my own work with the help of my brother and vice-versa. My first truck was a 98 chevy 1500 i lifted on 35's. Got into cars after that building muscle cars and turbo 4 cylinders. Got out of that and into the jeep scene, where i currently am at. Always loved the woods and grew up in the pine barrens of NJ. Started on dirtbikes and quads then graduated from there. Last year I bough a 95 YJ wrangler which was the worst you could buy. 2.5L automatic soft top. Ugh, wat a powerless turd. I must say it was great in the woods and had no problems climbing mountains and going through tight trails. I had a blast and caught the jeep thing.

Yesterday, I traded my old wrangdangler in (his name was henry) and picked up a completely stock 98 Emerald Green XJ SE. I detail cars part time for fun (ive got a full time job as well) and this truck was traded in last week at the dealer I detail for. As i said before its just an SE so no power windows or locks. hey, its an upgrade from zip windows and a soft top. It does have cruise and a/c though. Im happy. Now here's the crazy part, the xj had 2 owners. The first owned it almost its whole life. The other had it only a few months before trading it in to my dealer. It's only got 51xxx original miles on the 4.0L. It also has a good drivetrain setup. automatic, command trac, chrysler 8.25 rear. This XJ is MINT. Must have been garage kept most of it's life. The interior is spotless. No dents in the body. Few scratches but it is a 98. I've never seen an XJ in this kind of shape. Doesn't make one noise, squeak, rattle, clunk, nothing. Makes me nervous lol

Here are a few quick pics I havent taken any good ones yet. These are right after I 2-stage buffed it and detailed it.
