Well I'm fairly new to the Jeep models my first in 65 yrs. Started last year with a purchase of a 2004 Grand Cherokee (Overland Edition) Black Pearl, loaded! It was more nicely equipped than my Lincoln Town Car.
I watched it on craigslist for 2 months going unsold because of the mileage 193,000 when I called he said he had received only 2 calls on it. Then asked if I wanted to see and drive it he would bring it to my house only 8 miles away.
When he pulled in the drive I didn't think it was it, this one looked brand new and was obvious had been kept indoors. I looked it over and there was only one small blemish on the leading edge of the hood other than that a 9.8 car. The interior was in the same condition not a single blemish on the black leather seats or anything else. Overall at the very worse could have been a dealer demo car. Drove out fine as I found it had a new jeep crate motor at 172,000 on the HO motor. I ended up buying the 04 GC for a little less than 1/3 the loan value on it.
It has been so good I started a project on 6-21-13 with a purchase of a 99 XJ. So far had to put a new windshield/brakes to pass inspection, new Cragar wheel's and 33x12:50x15 tires, lift, trimming and still a lot of parts on the floor.
