Just got this 92 Jeep Cherokee( my first jeep, 2nd 4x4, I had a 84 k5 blazer a few years ago), 233k on her. Just plan to drive her to work and have something to go trail riding and maybe light dunes. I have a 08 Grand Prix as well. On to the pics
After cleaning it up a little bit, I took off roof rack as well, not sure If I want it back on(what do you guys think?) I thought about painting it black texture and adding 2 square fog lights to it.

Welcome, from Wisconsin. I would re-paint back to it's original red. Or a shade brighter red. A nice high gloss, high solid polyurethane. It's used on fire trucks, and relatively cheap. the stuff lasts forever! Then herculiner on all the Grey body trim. JMO!

As far as painting the cherokee, only time will tell.
