Hey everyone!

Just picked up a 1988 Jeep Cherokee Chief from craigslist for $1200. I wanted a 2 door. They just look a little cooler to me. It has 191k on the engine. Still runs like a champ. No noises, no rattles. Needs a tune up, but what 20 year old vehicle doesn't?

I'm sure you want pics, I'll get them posted in a second.

I've never owned a Jeep before. Just driving it around last night made me realize they are quite fun.

Thanks for the welcome!

Only problem it has so far is revving to 3k on start up and staying there until key off. I'm voting for dirty Throttle Body and idle valve.

Hey what's going on, just traded my bike for a 92 lerado. It's in good running condition. Just the body is totaled with rust and dents, I don't mean the little ones. I'm eventually going to have to replace the body piece by piece. Lookin forward I it though.
