Hey guys! my name is Jake and I'm in Arizona just south of Phoenix. I just bought my first Jeep. She is a 90 Cherokee that I picked up from a guy in Idaho.
Shes got good bones but is pretty jimmy rigged together. I will spend the rest of my life and the rest of my money putting her back together properly and turning her into a trail monster.
1990 Cherokee
5" rubicon express coils
Dana 44 front (welded)
9" rear (locked brand unknown)
"custom" (lol) link/radius arm front
chevy 63's in the rear
np231
advanced adapters slip yoke eliminator
completely stiffed front to rear.
"custom" bumpers
fuel tank relocated into cab
white rhino lined from head to toe
36's
I have already rebuilt the entire front and rear axles, replaced dozens of missing nuts and bolts, changed all the fluids, rewired almost the entire truck and it just continues for what seems like forever. The previous owner must have had a problem with Chrysler's engineering dept because if there was more than 1 bolt or nut holding a component in place, he decided to leave them off.
I am planning on a full 4 link front and rear with an ls swap in the near future. But as for now I just want to make this thing safe for my family and get out in the Arizona desert and have some fun!
As for a "project" name im thinking: Death Trap, Screw Loose or Un-F*CK It.
Here she is... Let me know what you think...
