I picked up my Jeep a little over a month ago and haven't had a chance to do anything to it. It has been a while since I have had a 4x4 but I am excited to start modifying it. I is an '86 that started its life with a 2.8L V6 and the PO put in a 4.3L V6. It seems to have about a 3" lift and has 33x12.50r15's under it. That is really all I know about it at this time but need to start cleaning it up inside and out. All comments welcomed. Enjoy.

 

Welcome to the forums. A picture of the engine bay would've great, I have never seen a xj with a v6. I don't know what it look lik in there. . Nice looking xj by the way. What's your future plans for it?

 

With the swap done they left lots of extra wires around the bay that is on my todo list.

 

Wow that look good. It look like its a bit roomy in there instead of the 4.0
