Default New to Jeeps

Hey everyone, I just bought a jeep (this afternoon as a matter of fact) and I'm looking forward to my many adventures with my new vehicle. It is a 2002 Laredo 4.0 with the Infinity sound system. I really don't know too much about cars, but both my brother-in-law and I are getting annoyed with me asking him stupid car questions.

Maybe you guys can help me out a little bit and take a new Jeep owner under your wing?

My first change to the car is probably replacing the blown speaker in the passenger door. I'm probably going to replace the driver door speaker as well. I'm an audio nut so it shouldn't be too difficult of a first project, but I'm looking forward to a challenge in the future.

Oh and the only other thing that is wrong with my Jeep that I know of now is the hydraulics on the hood are bad and need replacing. Maybe that will be done before the speakers, but we'll see how fast all of the parts can get in. Thanks for reading my novel just now, I tend to ramble sometimes lol.

Welcome from Wisconsin too. I, my self have two 5.25" in the front doors, two 6x9" in the rear hatch, one 10" sub in the rear cargo pocket. All Rockford Fosgates punch series. I've had them in there about four years. And am very happy with them.

Yeah I'm thinking 6 1/2 Bose for the front maybe? I'm still looking for to sounds quality for not too much coin.

Oh and I'm in Waukesha.
