Okay, for '98 I'll send you a Private Message.
Yeah, there's a lot of work to doing it, but it's not really that hard.

Quick update on my problem here folk, what problem? All sorted....

The second ha d unit arrived and after seeing it, then realising the size of the task in fitting it, I returned it and managed to source a brand new, after market, made in the UK one, only £30 more than the second hand so I duly bought it...

The swap began on Friday afternoon, fitted in between work, finished on Tuesday around midday, much, much to do but mostly fairly simple, one screw at a time kind of stuff, the main problem was the AC pipes, I needed borrow of a tool to sort them which delayed me a little...

Anyway, she is all sorted and like a new thing for me, carpets all shampoo'd and dried out nicely...

Job done and loving the XJ, thanks for the guidance folks...
