just bought my first jeep...
I am usually a muscle car, drag racing, street racing, cam, boost, etc...guy... but always wanted one of these jeeps to daily drive, beat around in... and here we go...got it for next to nothing so can't complain.

It does need some love and I will be asking lots of questions, etc...
as I know nothing about these. I will be doing most if not all work myself if need be.

first up is gas cap(currently missing haha)
exhaust(currently stolen converter took care of that)
making it dependable daily...
has a 175k miles on it 4x4.

so...im looking and researching on this forum for tire size and stock lift for now...
am I limited to a 30x9.5 and or a 235 75 15 looks to be the big choices...I want an aggressive tread on my stock steelies...but biggest I can go without any rubbing issues or major issues...

 

Welcome to CF!These jeeps are pretty easy to keep running with normal maintenance.Only real bad thing is rust in the rockers and floor pans.What part of Kentucky you from?

 

Central part of the state. 40 miles south of Louisville.
Hardly any rust, one reason I snatched it up...

 

I'm from Louisville but my moms side is from grayson county.
