Default New to the Jeep World.

I am a 34 yr old male, married, 2 kids, us soldier, and soon to be Jeep owner. Me and the wife have looked at jeeps for some time. I am getting one now that my tax money is in. I am not going to try to sound all fancy so i am going to just say its a 96 Grand Cherokee. I am looking at doing maybe 2 to 3 in lift, 31in tires, roof rack, bumpers and winch and maybe them fender flares or what ever they are called. Looking at doing some reading and learning for sure. This is my first 4 x 4. Thanks for having in your forum.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Still looking for that jeep. The guy I was buying from has started some issues. Hes changing the price and than dont know if he wants to sell or sell to me or his brother in law. I know hes been talking to me for 2 weeks or more and now hes not sure what he wants to do. I hate it. Had been set on that one and not looking any more do to thinking it was mine and now time to start over I think.
