Hey everyone! Recently traded my Chevy S10 for an '89 XJ. Lots of fun, and I figured I'd share my first maintenance experience with you. This jeep was owned by a serious do it yourselfer, and apparently couldn't afford a K&N air filter (see photo). I quickly replaced it with a real K&N filter.

 

Welcome! Glad to see another renix xj and from Oregon. I was born and raised in Coos Bay. I really miss Oregon. So anyways whats your plans for her?

Whoops. Guess the photo didn't take. My plans right now are to fix it up as is. Some of the fabrication needs repaired, painted, etc, especially the lift kit and suspension. Wiring needs to be looked at and repaired. Want to get the rack lights working. All of the fluids and filters are way overdue.

This weekend I'll be taking her on some trails, do some camping. And now, I'll attempt to upload a photo!
